The program provides students with an exceptional opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills through its distinguished academic staff and state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure, specifically tailored for research in high-energy physics, particle physics, particle accelerators, and particle detectors. With numerous ongoing research projects and international experimental collaborations, İSÜ is actively engaged in three experimental programs at CERN, one experiment at IHEP (Chinese Academy of Sciences), and another experimental program in preparation at BNL (USA). Within this framework, the İSÜ Physics Ph.D. program not only offers local research and development infrastructure but also provides access to a vast international research network in the field of high-energy and particle physics, a rare opportunity in Turkey.
