The Civil Engineering Department acknowledges the historical significance of civil engineering in shaping civilizations, evident from ancient urban building techniques to monumental structures like the Egyptian Pyramids and the Great Wall of China. Today, amidst global population growth and increasing infrastructure demands, civil engineering continues to evolve rapidly, addressing both developing and developed nations' needs. Our department, established in 2008, is dedicated to training Civil Engineers equipped with modern technology and a strong sense of societal responsibility. Throughout the four-year undergraduate program, students receive comprehensive instruction in Structural Engineering, Hydraulics, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and more, guided by our experienced faculty members. Opportunities for international exchange through Erasmus agreements, participation in R&D projects, and practical training via cooperative learning programs enrich students' educational experiences and prepare them for impactful careers in the construction industry.
