The goal of the English Translation and Interpreting Undergraduate Program is to cultivate proficient translators and interpreters capable of effectively translating and interpreting texts and discourses between English and Turkish across various domains and contexts. The aim to equip students with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to conduct academic research at both national and international levels while fostering collaboration between academia and industry to advance translation studies. Through a tailored curriculum, we prioritize the development of students' theoretical understanding and practical expertise in translation and interpreting, alongside proficiency in technology and communication. Additionally, we aim to enhance their intercultural research skills, ensuring their professional competence and readiness for the field.
