The faculty places a strong emphasis on integrating scientific research into its undergraduate curriculum. While practical studies for undergraduates typically involve following predefined experimental scenarios to understand established phenomena, we also prioritize engaging students in real scientific inquiry. This includes posing previously unanswered questions and dedicating substantial time to solving "worthwhile" problems. To achieve this, we have incorporated the "product design project" in the fourth year and the final project in the last year of our curriculum. The theoretical courses and laboratory work leading up to these projects are meticulously crafted to equip our students with the foundational knowledge and experimental skills essential for independent research. Moreover, students have opportunities to gain valuable professional experience through internships at pharmacies, hospitals, industries, or within various departments. Through these initiatives, our aim is to cultivate pharmacists who are proficient in conducting scientific research across diverse domains, including drug discovery and design.
