According to the worldwide definition of Social Work, it's far described as both an exercise-primarily based profession and an educational discipline. Its center objectives encompass selling social alternatives and development, fostering social brotherly love, and empowering people whilst advocating for their liberation. Key principles inclusive of social justice, human rights, collective obligation, and respect for variety are valuable to the sector. Social work integrates diverse theories from social sciences, humanities, and indigenous understanding to interact with people and societal structures, addressing life-demanding situations and enhancing ordinary well-being (IFSW & IASSW, 2014). In the first two years, students study foundational sciences like economics, law, social anthropology, politics, and health terminology. They're also introduced to social work through field visits and historical exploration. In later years, the emphasis shifts to social work theory and practice, aiming to provide students with practical experience and theoretical knowledge.
