Established in 2005 to cope with this developing want, our Department of Translation and Interpreting at Haliç University is strategically positioned in the heart of Old Istanbul, imparting students with easy access to cultural and academic assets.Our department pursuits to domesticate intercultural communication professionals with advanced linguistic, cultural, and textual talents, at the side of a sturdy information of translation concept and exercise. Through a comprehensive curriculum, college students receive schooling in translation, interpreting, linguistics, cultural research, academic writing, and oratory. Elective publications presented during the second 12 months permit students to specialize in numerous fields together with literature, psychology, sociology, health, era, trade, and worldwide companies.To enhance sensible skills in translation strategies along with simultaneous and consecutive translation, our exercise courses are conducted in our trendy Simultaneous Translation Laboratory, geared up with TRADOS translation software.
