The Doctorate Program in Islamic Civilization, Thought, History, and Literature, offered by Üsküdar University's Institute of Sufi Studies, responds to the evolving landscape of scientific research by embracing interdisciplinary approaches beyond traditional professional training. With a faculty of experts dedicated to fostering studies on manuscripts and primary sources, the program focuses on research languages such as Arabic, Persian, and Ottoman Turkish. It aims to achieve international recognition for works produced within the Seljuk and Ottoman cultural geography. To support this goal, emphasis is placed on developing English writing and speaking skills.
