The Istanbul Medipol University Department of Biomedical Engineering was established in 2014.Graduates of the department's four-year bachelor's degree program are awarded the title of Biomedical Engineer. Each year, the department offers full scholarships to 20 students. The medium of instruction is English, with a mandatory language preparation class. However, students who demonstrate proficiency in English may directly enter the regular program.The faculty members of the department possess extensive international experience acquired through years of research and education abroad.In addition to technical courses, students have the opportunity to select electives such as "Technology, Society, and Professional Development" and "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" to enhance their understanding of social responsibilities and personal career development. In line with the department's commitment to fostering industry-academia partnerships, numerous distinguished internship opportunities are available, both locally and internationally.
