The Journalism Department offers a four-year program that trains students in the field of journalism. Journalism is the oldest and enduring form of communication, and its importance remains constant.From 2013 to 2020, journalism education at Üsküdar University's Communication Faculty was taught as "New Media and Journalism." Since 2020, the department has been known as "Journalism." Despite the name change, the department's curriculum and mission remain largely the same. The department aims to train students in digital journalism, with a focus on internet-based platforms rather than traditional print media.Stay abreast of evolving digital practices in journalism and communications. Create and manage digital content for online platforms. Utilize interactive and participatory elements of the internet to engage audiences. Leverage the capabilities of digital journalism for enhanced effectiveness and efficiency.
