This program offers two six-month placements focusing on Psychology in Sport, Health, and Exercise, a field of increasing interest. The curriculum explores the relationship between the mind and body, covering topics such as motivation and the impact of physical activity on the brain. The course, jointly delivered by the Divisions of Psychology and Sport, Health, and Exercise Sciences, is accredited by the British Psychological Society. It provides a strong foundation in cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, biological psychology, and research methods. Graduates with a 2:2 grade or higher are eligible for membership in the British Psychological Society, a requirement for postgraduate training in psychology.
