The curriculum includes lectures covering both the theory and practice of DNA analysis for identification purposes. Special emphasis is placed on conducting DNA analysis in challenging scenarios, such as cases involving decomposed tissues, teeth, bones, victims of natural disasters (floods, earthquakes), air disasters (plane accidents), catastrophic events like nuclear accidents, mass graves, and archaeological and anthropological materials. Additionally, students learn about contemporary methods used in Y chromosome and mitochondrial DNA analysis, along with techniques for evaluating, interpreting, and reporting the results.
