The principal aspiration of the Department of English Language Teaching (DELT) is to train teachers and researchers who embody universal values, possess a pluralistic mindset, and demonstrate analytical and critical thinking in their perspectives. The aim is to cultivate individuals who are self-motivated to explore and question matters, capable of constructing viable knowledge, and adept at applying contemporary teaching methods and techniques. We endeavor to equip our students with the skills and qualifications necessary to excel in English language teaching and research, as well as in the field of linguistics. Specifically, we seek to produce well-qualified English language teachers and researchers who are prepared to integrate into the education system, meet its demands, and inspire students to engage in scientific research within the realms of Education, Linguistics, and English Language Teaching (ELT).
