The Ph.D. program has been designed to facilitate students in conducting in-depth explorations of the major social, cultural, and political issues stemming from mass communication. Following completion of a series of specialized preparatory courses, students will undertake a thesis aimed at making a significant and original contribution to their field of study. The primary objective of the program is to educate students capable of generating original ideas and effectively communicating them to both peers and students. Upon graduation, students will possess the ability to analyze and discuss contemporary developments and theories across various fields associated with mass communication, including film and television, journalism, public relations, advertising, and social media.
