Tunku Abdul Rahman University (UTAR) was established on August 13, 2002, as a private, non-profit university under the UTAR Education Foundation. It began with 411 students at its Petaling Jaya campus and has since grown to serve over 20,000 students from more than 45 countries. UTAR has graduated more than 89,000 alumni since 2005. Known for its commitment to quality education and research excellence, UTAR is one of Malaysia’s fastest-growing private universities.
