About the University
Multimedia University (MMU) was established in 1996 by Telekom Malaysia (TM) initially as “Telekom University,” before being renamed “Multimedia University” in 1997. MMU is recognized as the first private university approved by the Malaysian government. It is a member of several international organizations, including the Association of Asian Universities (AAU) and the International Association of Universities (IAU).
